Funeral Assistance Membership FAQ

The Funeral Assistance Membership provides comprehensive support for planning and organizing funerals for loved ones in the United States. Unlike traditional insurance or prepaid funeral contracts, this program does not provide monetary payouts. Instead, members receive assistance through contracted funeral service providers to manage all necessary arrangements.

The membership covers the following basic funeral services:

  • Transportation of the deceased to a local funeral service provider
  • Preparation of the body
  • Basic viewing arrangements
  • Coffin for the viewing
  • Funeral Director’s fees
  • Memorial book for signatures and reminders
  • Death certificate

Additional benefits include:

  • A round-trip airline ticket for the plan holder to attend the funeral of a covered member
  • Cremation option: Cremation services and an urn for ashes
  • Burial option: Basic casket and hearse for cemetery transport (cemetery fees not included in the US)
The primary member can be replaced immediately by an existing family member on the plan or a new qualifying member.

A deceased (non-plan holder) member can be replaced on the next anniversary date of the plan. The plan holder must contact the provider to complete the replacement process.

The Funeral Assistance Program does not guarantee a specific monetary amount. Assistance is provided through trusted, independent funeral homes near the client’s location or as required.
